<description>I came across your blog through a knitting site. I love your paintings! When I read that you are going to be using the various old barns from western NY as subjects I became so excited. I am originally from that area. I grew up about 25 miles from Rochester and we had two of those old barns on our farm when I was a child. I have always loved barns and whenever I pass them on the road I always look at them. I have also photographed some of them. I like to draw and have attempted drawings of barns over the years. I also love seeing the old school houses that are scattered about our countryside too.
I will be looking forward to seeing your barn paintings. Watercolor is such a lovely medium that can capture the delicate nuances of light so well. You are an expert with it. Thank you for sharing your knitting pages as well. I wish you the best of luck with all your endeavors.
